Serving the Seasons is written by Nicole DeCoursy Mead, a freelance magazine writer and editor who’s written about health, nutrition, and food for many publications including Redbook, Health, Weight Watchers Magazine, and Parenting. When Nicole left her full-time editor job in NYC in 2008 and moved from the big city to Westchester county in 2009, she rekindled her passion for cooking. As the writer and editor of Hilltop Hanover Farm’s CSA newsletter this past year, Nicole learned more about the benefits of eating locally-grown and organic vegetables and how to make delicious recipes that highlight the season. She hopes to share her love of seasonal cooking with her readers.
